Bosco Archive

St. John Bosco Youth Centre has been in existence since the 1950s and over the decades many thousands of people have been involved. We were delighted and very lucky to receive a huge number of photographs and slides from John Tyson, who was involved in the Centre for many years. In April we held a A Night to Remember, where we displayed some of these photos and celebrated the history of the Bosco and all those who have contributed over the years. Below is a randomly selected photograph from our archive, which will change each time you visit our site. We hope that you enjoy these photos, possibly spotting people you knew or even finding yourself.

We are always trying to extend the archive material we have on the Centre, If you have any old photographs, brochures, press clipplings, etc, relating to the Centre, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Brian Murphy, Centre Manager, by email or on 01 4560100.We would love to hear from anyone who was involved in the Centre in any capacity at any time.

The Bosco wants to keep the people of Drimnagh informed of the various activities that occur in the Centre. Thus we have produced a number of newsletters which have been distributed to every house in Drimnagh. The previously published newsletters are:
